Scooping that doesn't stop for winter.
Service runs year-round. In snow we pick up what we can see without digging, and if travel is hazardous we reschedule for when the weather clears.
When the snow melts, a one-time cleanup clears what the thaw leaves behind. Weekly, biweekly and monthly plans keep it from building up again.

Morton Service Guide
Year-round scooping for Morton yards.
Dogs go out in every kind of weather, so a Morton yard needs scooping all year. Each season changes the job a little. Here is what to expect from winter through fall, and what you can do to keep visits on schedule.
Winter
Waste keeps building up under and on top of the snow all winter. We keep coming on your scheduled day, and in snow we pick up everything we can see on top without digging into it.
If snow is falling and travel is hazardous, we reschedule and come back when the weather clears. Ice counts as a hazard too, so keeping the way into the yard clear helps the visit go ahead. You still get a text alert 5 to 60 minutes before we arrive, which gives you time to bring the dogs in out of the cold.
Winter holidays can land on a scoop day. When that happens we try to come before the holiday, or skip that week and do a double cleanup the following week.
The spring thaw
Snow hides a lot. When it melts, everything that was buried shows up at once, and the yard can look worse in early spring than it did all season.
If you kept a regular plan through the winter, we have been picking up the visible waste all along, and once the snow melts we clean up what we couldn't see before. If you didn't, the thaw is a good time for a one-time cleanup that clears what the snow left behind.
Spring can also bring standing water. Flooding is one of the yard hazards that can stop a visit, so a waterlogged yard may need to drain before we can scoop it safely.
Summer
If summer brings more time in the yard, for the dogs and for everyone else, it may be time to visit more often. Plans have no long-term commitment, so you can talk to us about switching.
Long grass is a hazard for our technician and hides waste, so please keep the lawn mowed. We scoop in most weather, but severe storms, lightning or extreme heat can mean rescheduling for safety. If your visit is delayed, we'll tell you.
Fall
Falling leaves cover the grass fast. If we can't see it, we can't scoop it, so please rake leaves as soon as you can. We'll pick up any waste we can see on top of them.
Excessive leaves, flooding and large debris are on the same list as tall grass and ice. Yards need to be reasonably maintained and free of hazards, and if we can't work safely or do the job properly, we may need to skip or reschedule the visit.
Billing in winter
Winter visits are billed the same as the rest of the year. There is no snow discount, because when the snow melts we come back to the bigger cleanups of what we couldn't see before. Regular plans are billed on the 1st of the month through our secure client portal.
Picking a plan for the whole year
Weekly service is our most popular plan and a good fit for homes with more than one dog. It also means you aren't the one scooping in the cold. Many single-dog homes do well with biweekly visits, and monthly service suits yards where waste builds up slowly. None of the plans require a contract.
